PRIMARY FUNCTION/GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION The Quality Assurance Analyst owns the planning and execution of testing phases for digital solutions' products. This includes selection, scheduling, coordination and management of product test scenarios and components to ensure the products are functional, reliable and meet the expectations of the business end users and/or product owners. The test scenarios may be inclusive of new applications, updates to existing applications, system patches, security improvements, and/or infrastructure updates relative to the products within the I&T digital solutions team portfolio. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Implements and manages test scenarios for code through development, test and prod environments. Functions collaboratively with associated teams, including development, environment leads, infrastructure, EHR, product owners and process engineers. Builds and communicates robust test scenarios within lifecycle management solution tool, working closing with Digital Solutions engineers and developers to ensure comprehensive view of test scenarios. Designs and executes both manual and automated test scenarios depending on requirements. Processes product reviews and informs the development team of defects and errors using the lifecycle management solution tool to ensure adherence to scheduled milestones. Manages risks and own resolution of issues affecting scope, schedule and quality. Assures all changes progress through a controlled and traceable path, in compliance with BSMH I&T Change Management policies and procedures Assists with executing test scenarios based on service request, user story backlog, or 3rd party application updates. Communicates key plans and commitments and ensures scheduled milestones and scope are achieved. Manages key customer relationships with product developers and business sponsors. Provides input to capacity constraints and prioritization in order to determine selection and execution of test scenarios. Conducts readiness reviews, defect reviews, and status calls; communicates to needed stakeholders. Ensures quality and fidelity of product features matches the target end user audience. Drives continuous improvement and automation in the product release process. Builds and maintains automation plans that align with product lifecycle deliverables including test strategy, test design, execution plan, data setup requirements, and traceability matrix. LICENSING/CERTIFICATION ASE Accredited Solutions Expert (required) Scrum Master (preferred) PMI-ACP Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred) EDUCATION Bachelors, Computer Science/Computer Engineering/related Technical field (required) WORK EXPERIENCE 2-6 years experience as an Accredited Solutions Expert (ASE) in a Unified Functional Testing (UFT) setting (required) Experience with technical and software engineering and deployment (required) 6-10 years experience in IS operations environment with focus on systems analysis or development (required) Experience using Application Life Cycle Management Quality Center (ALM QC) (preferred) Prior software development, deployment or maintenance experience (preferred)
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Project ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
