Full Job Description POSITION
Summary:
The Assistant Director of Admission I is a thoughtful, welcoming team player and relationship-builder who supports the work of Prairie's Admission Office in a variety of ways.
S/he will give tours, represent Prairie externally at outreach and recruitment initiatives, and serve as a key member of the Advancement team.
While this individual will be able to admit students in any division, they will focus primarily on Early and Primary School (grades ES - 5).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Highly-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to create and grow authentic relationships with people from a diverse array of backgrounds.
Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills, as well as a growth mindset approach to work and life.
An aptitude for listening to others.
Keen attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy and organization, and the ability to manage complex processes and a high volume of information.
The ability to give and receive feedback when needed or warranted.
Comfort in serving as an institutional representative of The Prairie School with external constituencies and partner organizations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience, preferably working in education, admission, or another advancement function.
Familiarity with the OnBoard product suite, PowerSchool, and Excel preferred.
Bachelor's degree required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
