Our UNFI Sturtevant Distribution Center is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to help keep America stocked with natural and organic foods for the grocery stores and supermarkets! Our retailers range from small family owned stores to Whole Foods Market and everything in between.
We are seeking individuals with warehouse experience ready to show their passion and helping nourish families across America.
Position Purpose:
Responsible for invoicing and batching to support Shipping and Receiving.
Performs data entry, evaluate accuracy of invoices (such as purchase order discrepancies), batch invoices and orders, completes warehouse paperwork, checks in drivers, and coordinates departure schedules.
Compensation:
$18.
25 - 21.

00 for Weekend $2.
00 for Freezer $1.
25 for 2nd shift Schedule:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1PM - 11:

Ability to prioritize and work independently with good organizational and time management skills Strong knowledge of applicable computer system functions and RF systems Understands procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook and 10-key Excellent communication/decision-making skills Ability to interact with all departments and all levels of management Equipment knowledge is a plus Understanding of Safety guidelines Warehouse/Operations/Transportation experience preferred but not required Physical Environment/Demands:
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hands to type, file, grasp and fine manipulation; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday Minimal stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties Occasional exposure to temperatures ranging from 35 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by the employees assigned to this job.
